Hello and welcome to the life of me. I guess this is supposed to be about my adventurous and trials, right? Okay, so where do I begin? Do I start this off by talking about my career or do I say something to enlighten your day and make you smile? If I were to start at the beginning of my story and my life I would be cliché. So I’ll start at the end.
Right now I’m contemplating my involvement in a musical group. We’ve put out two albums together, me and four other girls. I’m the lead singer and have always been. We all joined up at a burlesque club, dancing there. Our voices all seemed to click. Oh well though, we got in a spat on our last tour. It wasn’t fun and it’s not over. I’m not sure if our group will survive the spat. I’m okay career wise though. I can go solo since I was the lead. I’ve done solo songs before. I haven’t focused on a solo career, although I’m confident that I’d be accepted as a solo artist.
Before our group had our spat we were inseparable. We had a huge house in Hollywood, where all of us girls lived. After our last tour we sold our house and I moved to New York City. I’ve been here for about six months. We were all dancers at a burlesque club in Los Angeles after we graduated high school. Before being co-workers, if that’s the right word for it, we had no idea who the other was, meaning we didn’t grow up with each other or go to school with each other.
While I was dancing at the club I was also going to college. I had a split identity almost, like angel by day and devil by night. I was a good college girl and a bad girl at the club. I went to college for a degree in culinary arts and business. Which explains what I’m doing right now. I’m the owner of Satan’s Angel here in New York City. It’s one of the more popular clubs. I don’t really need the money from it, so I do it as a hobby sort of thing.
Half way into college I decided to be spontaneous and be a "painted girl" for a Playboy party. I guess I did something right because I landed a centerfold with Playboy. I was already fine with everything that I had to, like being in front of people with less than nothing on. It was really fun for me.
My childhood was interesting. My mother was single and a burlesque dancer as well. So was my grandmother. It's weird to think that my grandmother danced. Oh well though, it's a genetic thing. My mother finally got married after I made a name for myself but still lives in Los Angeles.
That's pretty much my story, it's not over yet though. I'm still writing it and I'll say when it can be put on hold and when it can stop.
